Lord, as I passed my dream home today, I drove up into the driveway. I pondered in my mind ownership of this big beautiful home, so that I might have enough room and space to accommodate many family members for thanksgiving dinner, and to host them for christmas celebration. I'm requesting omnership of the villa that I presently occupy, so that I can give my eldest son a stater home and get him off to a solid and manly start in life should something was to happen to me in the near future. You've said in Your word, that a father should leave his children an inheritance, so I'm attmepting to receive my share of the inheritance promised to Abraham, so that I can share the wealth with my three sons. If You be pleased with my request, then approve my prayer request, according to its merits, and Your will for me at 1109 Woodpine St. in Baywood. In Jesus' name I pray. *AMEN*

11 Tim. 2:1 Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. 2 And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also. PRACTICAL POINT: *We can remain amidst trials only as we rely on the Lord's grace*
3 Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. 4:1 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom. PRACTICAL POINT: A faith worth having is a faith worth passing on.
2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. 3 For the same time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; (truth) BUT AFTER THEIR OWN LUSTS SHALL THEY HEAP TO THEMSELVES TEACHERS, HAVING ITCHING EARS; (HEARING WHAT PLEASES THEM. INSTEAD OF THE TRUTH)
4 AND THEY SHALL TURN AWAY THEIR EARS FROM THE TRUTH, AND SHALL BE TURNED UNTO FABLES. PRACTICAL POINTS: A faithful life of service will never be easy. God's Word must be the source of our instruction, rebuke, and exhortation of one another.
5 But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry. PRACTICAL POINT: We must take advantage of opportunities to minister, for those opportunities will not always be available. Consistent, determined service to the end will glorify God. *AMEN*
SERMON: Thanksgiving=Thanksliving=Character of God.
Ephesians 4:1 I Therefore, the prisioner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called. 2 With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love: 3 Endeavouring to keep thy unity of the spirit in the bond of peace. 4 There is one body and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; 5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 One God and Father of all, and in you all. 7 But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.
Colossians 3:12-17 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; 13 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. 14 And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness. 15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful. 16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom: teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. 17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him. *AMEN*
